Workshop in Oviedo, June 2011

Workshops in Spain are organized by Ariadna Martin Vega, whom I met in Barcelona during my first workshops. After these first few workshops, Ariadna invited me to teach at her school near Oviedo in the Asturias area. Twenty-eight participants took place in this first workshop in Mieres.

Ariadna first began to teach Tahitian Dance in Asturias in 2011, then in Bilbao and Oviedo in the Basque Country of Spain.

This first series of workshops included an introduction program for all new students and a beginner level program. Ariadna’s classes are very specific in the sense that they include few several men that chose to follow the same instructional course as the women.
